Meet others interested in acid dyeing in this ongoing monthly study group designed for sharing information on current projects, comparing various dyes, and exploring specific dyeing techniques. The group will determine what techniques and ideas to explore from month to month, supporting independent efforts or working on a common project, such as a depth of shade study.

Bring along any current dyeing project, problems, or study ideas.

Details

• This is not meant to be an introduction to acid dyeing, but rather a chance to expand our knowledge of the field together.
• Registration is necessary, as capacity is limited in the Dye Lab.
• Dress for a mess.

Prerequisites

• Dye Lab Certification.
• Acid Dyeing Basics or equivalent experience. If you have any questions, email surfacedesign.coordinator@bainbridgebarn.org

Class Policies

• Ages 14 and up are welcome.
• Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
• Bring rubber gloves, an N-95 (or equivalent) mask, and, optionally, an apron.
