About

We will make a a picnic of Mediterranean mezzes (mezze means a small dish of Middle Eastern cuisine). We will make and grill flat bread, grill vegetables such as asparagus and baby carrots, grill halloumi cheese, make romesco sauce and mazurka bar cookies, and include marinated olives.

This seasonal menu may be amended to accommodate fresh foods in the market.

This is a collaboration between BARN's Fiber, Woodworking, and Kitchen Arts studios to celebrate Mother's Day. You can make a cutting board in the Woodworking Studio on the morning of May 13 to fit into the picnic tote you can make in the Fiber Studio that same afternoon. Then wrap it all up with this class, on Mother's Day, by making a meal to fill the tote! Take all three classes - with your mom or grandma or with your kids or grandkids (you can also come to any or all the classes on your own).

• A $22 materials fee is included in the cost of the class, covering all needed items.
• Registration closes May 12
• Wear a coat as we will be using the outdoor grill, unless the weather is so inclement we have to cook inside.
  
• Wear closed-toes shoes to class.
