Mosaic Holiday Tree Trio
Give yourself a cheery start to the holiday season with unique decorations.
Create a trio of mosaic trees in three sizes (8", 6", and 4") that group together into a striking tabletop or mantel display. Each flat wood triangle is yours to design.
Details
- Choose your own colors and pattern, whether that's classic stripes, a diagonal design, or something entirely your own.
- All three pieces are completed in a single session.
- After grouting, slot your trees slot into wood stands provided for you.
Materials
- A $20 materials fee, included in the price of the class, covers everything you'll need.
Class Policies
- Ages 14 and up are welcome.
- Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required in the Glass Arts Studio at all times.
Instructor
Barbara is a mosaicist with a passion for helping others express themselves through the art of mosaics. She discovered art a little later in life than lots of other people, having been distracted by corporate life, ladder climbing, and the nonsense idea that she wasn’t creative. Now her favorite thing is to watch a student realize their unique ability to produce something personal and meaningful, and to develop their own artistic vision. Her favorite saying is that “perfection can be purchased at the Dollar Store. Art and beauty are found in the unique and flawed.” She serves on a variety of boards and committees and lives in Gig Harbor with her husband and far too many dogs and chickens.
