This is an introductory workshop where participants will create various one-of-a-kind monotype prints (8"x10" format) starting with single color, single plate impressions and gradually move onto incorporating multiple colors and various press passes. It is open to all artistic and printmaking skill levels. This course is a particularly good starting point for those new to printmaking in that it will introduce them to the basic materials and practices used in most other printmaking processes.  Materials Fee: $25

Xiomara has studied printmaking for six years. She has experience in various printmaking methods and specializes in woodcut relief, intaglio etching, and monotype techniques. her inspiration come from her experience working and traveling abroad, as well as, surrealism and the human form.
