This is in WORKSHOP FORMAT.  The workshop is for participants with some previous MIG experience of initial classes at BARN.  It is an experience and sharing opportunity as you practice MIG welding and improve your technique or begin a project.  Participants are expected to assist one another and share their knowledge. The format is open and flexible depending on the desires of the participants.

The workshop will include a review of the equipment and safety protocols in the welding studio at BARN.

There is an additional materials fee of $10 for gas, wire, and practice coupons or scrap. This will be added to the price of class tuition and totaled when you register on line.

Participants will supply their own project materials.  Practice materials will be available in limited amounts as part of the workshop. Additional materials (steel) for projects are available at cost to participants of $1.25 per pound.

Students must wear long sleeves and long pants of natural fiber.  Dress warmly, the welding studio may be cold.

Materials for projects (beyond practice steel coupons or scraps) are available in limited supply based oh what is on hand. Materials available (steel) cost the student an additional $1.25 per pound.

Minimum class size is 2. The class will be cancelled 60 hours prior to class time if only one person has registered.
