In this class you will see how machine tools such as the lathe, milling machine and computer controlled milling machine can be used to help with your jewelry projects, such as making a die for cutting or forming metal, cutting waxes, and cutting or shaping your metal directly. Everyone who attends the class will take home a small die for hydro forming metal disks.

Additional Materials Fee of $15 for die materials will be added to the tuition and then totaled when you register.

Instructor Bio: Chris Stanley is a professional model maker and educator. He has done work for IBM, NASA, the Smithsonian, and many other companies. He has taught many an industrial design student how to bring their creations to life in the machine shop.
