Class Cancelled


Create festive light-up ornaments made with felt, LEDs and conductive thread. These ornaments are wonderful keepsakes or hand-crafted gifts for kids to give their loved ones.

As we craft the ornaments we will cover basic concepts of circuitry and explore follow-on applications of e-textiles.

This class is intended for kids 8-13 with an accompanying adult. 

Parents are welcome to join in the fun of creating ornaments or just observe. We will have several design options available to accommodate different skill levels of hand-sewing and crafting. Beginners are welcome!

IMPORTANT REGISTERING INFORMATION:
Adults: Please register yourself and then enter the number of "guests" (up to 3 children accompanied by an adult) you are bringing. The form will show that each "guest" is $8, which will cover the additional materials fee for each child. You will only be charged once for the class tuition but it will tack on the additional $8 for each child (for materials fee) and be totaled when you complete your registration. If you pay by check, please be sure to include the $8 materials fee for each child plus one adult tuition fee. If you decide to make additional ornaments, we will also accept materials payments in the form of check or cash during the workshop.
