This time is strongly geared toward learning fundamental podcasting methods, such as how to record audio files with the studio’s RØDECaster Pro recorder and how to use, maintain, and reserve the studio for this use. You’ll become familiar with the RØDECaster software, which allows one to record audio files, transfer to your own computer system, edit files, and easily transfer to a podcasting publishing platform.

You’ll get a limited review of Audacity, a basic but easy-to-use audio editing program that also is available for use in the studio.

When completed, BARN members will be issued fob access to the studio and be able to reserve it in two-hour segments. Non-members who complete this orientation will also be able to reserve the studio for a $20/day fee.
