This is a beta class open only to invited students, to test-run a new class on using VCarve Pro to design and cut inlays on the Woodworking Studio's CNC router.

• On Day 1, the full class will meet in the Electronics & Technical Arts lab to review VCarve Pro, discuss inlays, and start design. Students will decide how to divide up the class up for Days 2 and 3 if the class is large.
• On Day 2, up to two students will meet in the Woodworking Studio to review/finalize designs, learn safe operation of the CNC Router, set up the projects, cut the materials, and glue them up.project.
  
• On Day 3, the rest of the class will do those steps.
• On Day 4, the full class will meet in the Woodworking Studio to cut off excess inlay material and sand the inlays.

Please note: Days 2, 3 and 4 coincide with Open Studio time so students will be sharing the shop with others.
