Come join us in a rare opportunity to experience the crafting of bookbinding tools with Jim Croft. Create useful bookbinding and paper folding tools out of wild-harvested elk and deer bone, bamboo, and various hardwoods. Jim will demonstrate whittling, filing, and carving on bone and wood. Create your own awl, as well as beads, buttons, or jewelry. Instruction on tool sharpening will also be covered for those who are interested.

Supply list available upon registration.

Jim Croft is a medieval bookbinder and papermaker. He is internationally known for his skills, and he travels annually to various locations in the USA to teach students how to make bookbinding tools out of wild-harvested materials. Croft is a legend in the bookbinding and paper making world.
