Thursday, August 4 from 6 pm - 8 pm

Materials fee: $4 payable in class

Learn to accurately mark metal strips and then bend them as you craft three letters from a flat steel bar 1 inch wide by 1/8 inch thick. You can make additional letters or shapes during the class if time allows, or follow through during the sheet metal shop’s open studio times.

No prior sheet metal experience is required, although it will be helpful to have taken the two-hour Sheet Metal Safety & Orientation class, offered every Wednesday, July 6 through Aug 31, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 p.m.
