In this 3 sessions class, explore the world of popup books and movable magic…all by making a popup book of your very own, with 6 structures that are sure to amaze and amuse!  We’ll learn the basics of popup structures at the beginning of the class, showing how simple popups can be combined to make incredible effects. Then, we’ll explore six classic popup and movable structures in a cool book with your own personal touches! These structures can also be made into memorable greeting cards.  

There will be an additional Materials Fee of $15 added to the price of the class when you register.

You will be provided a standard bookbinding took kit for use during the class, so no  eed to purchase materials and tools in advance! 

Be sure to bring a lunch for the Saturday and Sunday sessions. BARN has a refrigerator to store your lunch in.

Instructor: Mary Jeanne Linford has been a professional book artist for over 40 years.  Under the press name Bad Girl Press. she specializes in popup books. Her work can be seen in the book arts room at BIMA, as well as online on YouTube.
