Thursday, August 4 from 6 pm - 8 pm

Materials fee: $15.50 (payable in class)

Make a lidded box about 8 by 10 inches with sides 3 inches high, suitable for storing buttons or other items. You will learn to measure and cut the parts from galvanized steel, design a lid that has enough clearance to fit well, finish edges so they don’t scratch and secure the joints.

The Sheet Metal Studio will be open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm for open studio time to finish any class projects.

No prior sheet metal experience is required, although it will be helpful to have taken the two-hour Sheet Metal Safety & Orientation class, offered every Wednesday, July 6 through Aug 31, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 p.m
