About

Internal Note: This class had one registrant who showed up for the class but the instructor did not. Tammie issued a refund. Then student talked directly with Chris and set up that he would enter the class rescheduled to begin Monday, July 23rd. The July 16th class had been left open to registration because Wild Apricot doesn't officially close the class until the last day and end time has been reached. Tammie should have disabled registration. Doug ended up re-registering for the July 16th class because Tammie wasn't notified in time that the class had been moved to the July 23rd. Doug just was trying to get registered. I have now posted the new date and moved him to the July 23rd beginning class.~Tammie

In this class you will learn to use fusion 360 to build a simple three dimensional model of your fidget spitter. Then we will learn how to use fusion 360 to output G code to run cutting paths on the CNC milling machine. Lastly we will cut out the body of your fidget spitter in plastic and insert three bearings into the spinner. Additional bearings can be purchased. Every student will take home a spinner that they have designed and built.

Details:

  • All levels welcome.
  • Materials fee of $25 will be added at registration.
  • If you have a laptop with Fusion 360 installed you should bring it to class to facilitate workflow.
