In this course you’ll make a set of 3 custom darts that will give you bragging rights at your local tavern or your family room.  While making the darts you’ll advance your machining skills as you craft  custom brass bodies to attach to commercial points, shafts and flights.  Drill and tap the bodies for the points and shafts and learn to cut the proper tapers on the bodies and decide and execute the style of knurling and grooving for your darts.  Some examples are in the hallway outside of the welding shop.

An additional materials fee of $25 will be added to the price of class when you register. Members: $85+25=$110. Non-Members: $100+25=$125.

Instructor Bio: Stan Stumbo is a professional marine mechanical engineer (retired) and is a longtime home-shop hobby machinist.
