In this class you will learn about the art of making jigs and fixtures. Holding your work and making special parts to assist in the machining is often necessary and can be quite an interesting challenge and part of the overall machining process. You will come away with an appreciation of some of the many clever ways to solve problems in the shop.
Prerequisite: Must have attended Introduction to the Milling Machine. Also, Thinking Like A Machinist class is recommended.

Instructor Bio: Chris Stanley is a professional model maker and educator. He has done work for IBM, NASA, the Smithsonian, and many other companies. He has taught many an industrial design student how to bring their creations to life in the machine shop.
