Instructor

Dawna Ellis began sewing more than 50 years ago as a Girl Scout. Nurturing those skills led her to become a costume designer and fabricator in the theatrical industry for 30 years. That experience and exposure to working with textiles in often unconventional ways solidified her love of textiles and their endless possibilities. Dawna continues to explore techniques to develop and hone her skills, is an avid quilter, and lives in Poulsbo with her husband and two dogs.
