About

This is one kind of non-adhesive binding  based on a historical German book and is used by book conservators. It lends itself well to a variety of uses including journals that you can make at home. In this class, you can punch out a stitching pattern and sew a model to take home.

Materials Provided:

The instructor will provide a materials kit. If you have your own tools, do bring them but if you don't, we will have what you need. The kit includes:

• Folded sections
• An awl
• Sewing thread and needles
• Cover materials

• A $20 materials fee is included in the price of the class.
