Learn to sew or improve your skills in this 1-day, hands-on, beginner class. Have fun learning basic sewing techniques through skills building exercises.  At the completion of class you will have a reference notebook filled with your technique samples and a new bag you created yourself!

This class is perfect for the new sewist and those wanting a refresher on basic sewing techniques. No previous sewing experience required.

You can bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours.

Material Fee: $15 
Please bring cash or check made out to BARN.

Teacher Bio: Kathy Mack is a Bainbridge Island quilter and sewist exploring color, pattern and texture through the practice of fiber arts.  Her work is characterized by vibrant colors, contrasting shapes, and bold compositions.  She enjoys sharing her sewing knowledge and passion for creative expression with others in the classroom and through participation in community groups.
