This workshop is the first step toward becoming qualified for operation of the CO2 laser cutters. It also prepares you for more advanced laser cutting classes. Learn how to prep a design with LightBurn for cutting and engraving, as well as the set-up, settings, and operation of the laser cutters.

Details

  • If you don't have a laptop you can bring to class, email tech.programming@bainbridgebarn.org as BARN may be able to provide an alternative.
  • Class is limited to four students.

Class Policies

  • Ages 14 and up are welcome.

Nathan Abell

Nathan teaches laser cutting and soldering classes for the Tech Lab. He enjoys building 3D printers, electronic circuit design, and making Renaissance-inspired swords and daggers.
