About
Learn sculptural techniques using borosilicate to make lightly stylized, naturalistic slugs. If you’ve worked with boro to make marbles and are curious about making representational glass objects, this is an ideal starting point. If you’ve worked primarily with soft glass, this is a perfect opportunity to try borosilicate or extend your practice. You can optionally contrast working with boro and soft glass in the companion class to this, Lampworked Sculpture: Soft Glass Slugs.
Just happen to like these quintessential Pacific Northwest creatures? Come make a cornucopia of them with fellow slug enthusiasts!
