By special request! Learn to make miniature dinosaurs to keep or give as gifts.

Do you have a thing for the T-Rex? Like the looks of a brachiosaurus? We'll make at least two different styles of dinosaurs, depending on participants' preferences. We may do even more, time permitting.

You're encouraged to bring small toy dinos for models. While the glass provided in class will tend towards more realistic dinosaur colors, you're also welcome to bring additional borosilicate glass in your favorite colors. The instructor will have scrap bundles of boro color for sale, if desired.

Details

• A $30 materials fee, included in the price of the class, covers everything you need.
• You're welcome to bring additional boro glass colors if you would like. 

Prerequisites

• Students must have taken at least one torch intro class such as bead bootcamp (Introduction to Torchwork: Beadmaking) or intro to marbles (Introductory Lampworking With Borosilicate Marbles), or prior experience.
• It's strongly recommended that you've taken a sculpture class such as pumpkins, hearts, turtles, etc., OR have practiced torching a lot since their intro class.

Class Policies

• Ages 14 and up are welcome.
• Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants in the Glass Studio at all times.
• Avoid wearing synthetic fibers (they melt), long loose sleeves (they dangle), shirts with open pockets or pants with cuffs (they can trap hot glass).
