Tamales are an iconic Mexican food that go hand-in-hand with the winter holidays. Each tamal feels like a gift to be unwrapped, offering a complete and warming meal contained neatly within each corn husk. While eating them is easy, making tamales is a project that is best tackled with many hands to help. It’s a favorite activity for friends and family gatherings.

Join Chef Gino Garcia as he shows you how to organize your own tamalada — tamal-making party. You'll make three kinds of tamales — two savory and one sweet. Learn how to make the sauces and masa (dough). Taste what you make, and take home your sweet tamal.
