Using knitting needles, yarn, and a salad spinner, students will construct and felt a wool rolled brim hat that is stylish, waterproof, pack-able, and warm.

Class is open to anyone 14 years and older.

Skill Level:  Advanced Beginner. The class will require participants to be able to knit, pearl, increase, and decrease to take the class.

Material Fees: $20 included in the price of class.
Material fees will cover the cost of yarn and the pattern for the class. Material fees will be added at time of registration.

 Students Should Bring: 

• 16 inch Size 13 Circular Needle.
• Lunch. 
• A sense of adventure.
• A desire to have a great time with fellow participants.
  

Instructor Bio: Sandy Hall has been knitting and spinning for over 40 years.  Her felted hats are featured at the Artful Ewe in Port Gamble.  As an occupational therapist and special education, she has taught variety of classes with appreciation of the select learning styles.  Everyone who has taken  her knitting and spinning classes at BARN rates her as an excellent teacher who's knowledge and wonderful way of working with students is marvelous.
