Our monthly community meetings are free and open to all. Come at 7 pm to participate in a mini demo and a tasting. These evenings are a great opportunity to bring in a new friend to BARN.

September 14: The Art of Chocolate Truffles with Powell & Jones Fine Chocolates

Truffle Ganache 101:  Come learn how to make classic truffle ganache, fix a split, and make these wonders at home. Watch the technique of hand dipping and coating. Lucky for us, there will be samples.

In addition to a range of truffles, pralines and chocolate panned items Powell and Jones are now operating one of only the very few artisan scale ‘bean to bar’ manufacturing facilities in Washington State. Wow! You may have seen them at the farmers' market or at their space in the coppertops. 

All are welcome -- bring a friend, your curiosity, and yout appetite!
