Monday afternoons 4/6 to 4/27

Make a copper pin as you learn to cut, file, solder and form metal to make jewelry. Textures, rivets, studio setup, safety and tool buying will be covered. 

No experience is necessary. This class is timed to work with the Monday early-release schedule at Bainbridge High School and Eagle Harbor High School. Students can ride Bus 34 to get to the class.

A $10 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Purchase of sterling silver is extra.

For a student younger than 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign a liability waiver before the class. To download the form, please click here. Students 18 and older will need to sign at the first class.

INSTRUCTOR: Jane Martin  has taught jewelry making at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, for the Seattle Metals Guild, and the Bainbridge Island park department. Her jewelry is shown at Facèré Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle. She first learned to make jewelry when she was in high school.
