About

This is a 2 session class (Tuesday and Wednesday) for beginners and intermediate level students. In this class you will be making a small cylindrical lidded box. We will practice the skills of sawing, soldering, filing, and finishing.  Also, hydraulic die forming will be used to make the lid of the box. 

An additional materials fee of $5 will be added to class fee when you register.

Students may buy sterling silver in the jewelry studio if they wish for their projects. 

Instructor: Chris Stanley is a fourth generation artist/ craftsman who works in a variety of media. After working for many years as a professional model maker in both architectural and design fields, he went into education, teaching a wide variety of classes for the Art Institute of Seattle.
