In this class you will learn how to make the tassel and learn knotting and stringing techniques. Traditionally a mala necklace uses 108 beads and is made for meditation or prayer. There will be flexibility in class to come up with your own design or you can stick to a more traditional method.

Details:

  • No jewelry experience needed for this class.
  • $15 materials fee will be added to class fee when you register. (this includes stringing materials and tassels)
  • If you need beads, kits will be available for purchase at the beginning of class for $50.
  • Students please bring:
  • 107 x 8mm round gemstone beads, or something similar 1 x focal bead.  You are welcome to bring smaller beads but your necklace length will be varied.
