About

Exploring Bead Weaving: Flat Spiral stitch -"Tuscany"

The romantic, organic quality of this flat spiral bracelet reminds me of the ancient harmony of Tuscany.  Just a small alteration to the traditional spiral weave gives this pattern a very different look and feel.  A unique combination of seed beads, crystal bicones and 4mm rounds intertwine so perfectly using a simple repeating stitch resulting in an extraordinary bracelet that is both comfortable and beautiful.  Bead weaving basics and tools will be reviewed and problem solving skills will be discussed.

An additional Materials Fee of $15 will be added to the total cost of the class when you register online.

Free open studio for beaders will be Wednesday, 5/23, 10am to 1pm.

Class: BEGINNERS and All levels

Teacher Bio: Chris Eisenberg discovered beading while recovering from an accident and the resulting traumatic brain injury. Beading was her therapy and credits it for helping her become whole again. Chris has a doctorate in classical piano performance from the University of Northern Colorado and am a performance coach and collaborator at Central Washington University. She has previously taught workshops at the Autumn Artist Retreat and in the Iron Mountain Arts studio near Port Gamble.
