Formulas for Egyptian paste clay will be presented. We will work with this self glazing material by shaping, drying, and firing. Everyone will have a chance to make a number of beads as well as learn how to fire this versatile material with a simple propane torch. This class is open to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.

There is an additional materials fee of $10 that will be added to the class fee when you register.

Students may buy sterling silver in the jewelry studio if they wish for their projects. 

Instructor: Chris Stanley is a fourth generation artist/ craftsman who works in a variety of media. After working for many years as a professional model maker in both architectural and design fields, he went into education, teaching a wide variety of classes for the Art Institute of Seattle.
