Tuesdays, January 13 to February 17, 2014.

Students in this class will work on projects of their choosing with instructor Anne Bulmer Brewer there to offer help, as needed.  

On day one, each student will present their project design concepts to the class to help the student clarify for themselves their project goals and the skills required to implement the projects.  From this exercise, each student will learn how to start developing their unique design voice, as well as, building the skill sets required to execute their vision during the course of this class. 

Students must be able to solder on their own and completed at least one intermediate course or similar experience for this level class. 

A $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.

INSTRUCTOR:  Anne Bulmer Brewer is a relative newcomer to the world of metalsmithing and jewelry. Anne brings to it 7 years of full-time making experience along with intensive educational experiences with some of today's top metalsmiths and jewelers. She also brings to the field the creativity, ingenuity and discipline learned in her 20+ year career as an engineer (BS Systems Engineering) and as a consultant to the manufacturing and architecture worlds.  Her work is shown at Alchemy925 Gallery in Boston.
