About

The workshop is open to BARN Members who have taken MIG #1 and MIG #2 and are interested in brushing up on what they learned before participating in Open Studios or undertaking personal projects.

The workshop will quickly review machine set-up and operations. Basic MIG techniques and practice will be summarized.

Participants will be free to work on their skills with the assistance of an instructor and their colleagues in the workshop.

The workshop is a perk for BARN members and is free. There is an $18 materials fee.

Details:

• Safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be provided by BARN.
  
• Students must wear natural fiber clothing, long sleeves, long pants, closed toe shoes (preferably leather or cotton), no stretch fabrics. (Auto-darkening sun glasses are not helpful)
• There is a materials fee of $18 for steel, gas, and filler wire that is included in the cost of the class.
