About
Cancelled-by Henry due to lack of registrants.
This class is the second of a 4 part series. It is the next step once students complete the prerequisite class: MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welding Part 1.
The emphasis of the class will be on technique development and practice.
This class builds on the introduction provided in MIG #1. This is a hands-on opportunity to refine and practice what was learned in MIG #1. The MIG welding class is limited to 4 participants. Small class size creates an intimate learning atmosphere for one-on-one learning. The class is open to have completed Part 1 or the equivalent. Every participant will have a welding station to practice the MIG welding process.
The class will focus on how to perform different kind of welds – butt, lap, T, corner, and edge. The goal at the end of the studio is to feel comfortable with the operation of the welding machine and the MIG welding process in performing different welds.
The class will review the safety briefing, the introduction to welding theory and materials and the set up process for MIG welding on a Miller 215 Welder.
Beginning Level but for students who have completed Introduction to MIG #1
