Introduction to Fused Glass Mosaics: Sushi Anyone?
Learn how to create a mosaic effect with no grout and make a sushi tray and dipping dishes.
Make functional art! Small glass squares, rectangles, and triangles come together in a geometric design that builds your glass-cutting skills and creates something both beautiful and useful (you can make two hanging wall tiles instead of the dishes if you prefer).
Get step-by-step instructions on design fundamentals as you assemble the compositions using small, opaque glass colors arranged on a black glass base. You'll be the designer!
Details
- You'll choose between making a 3-inch by 9-inch sushi tray and three additional 3-inch-square coordinated dipping dishes, or two 3 inch by 9 inch hanging wall tiles.
Materials
- A $50 materials fee, included in the price of the class, covers everything you'll need.
Class Policies
- Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required in the studio at all times.
- Ages 14 and up are welcome.
