Learn how to create a mosaic effect with no grout. Small glass squares, rectangles, and triangles come together in a geometric design that's both beautiful and functional.

You'll create a sushi tray and three dipping dishes while building your glass-cutting skills. If you don't want dishes, you can make two hanging wall tiles instead.

Get step-by-step instructions on design fundamentals as you assemble the compositions using small, opaque glass colors arranged on a black glass base. You will be the designer!

Details

  • You have a choice of making a 3-inch by 9-inch sushi tray and three additional 3-inch-square, coordinated, dipping dishes. Or, make two hanging wall tiles, each 3 inches by 9 inches.

Materials

  • A $50 materials fee, included in the price of the class, covers everything you'll need.

Class Policies

  • Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required in the Glass Arts Studio at all times.
  • Ages 14 and up are welcome.
