In this two session class, you will learn the basics of G-code programming used throughout industry for controlling machine tools, routers, plasma cutters, 3D printers etc. Chris writes G code to machine metal forming dies for his jewelry projects. The focus in this class will be on the coding necessary to control the BARN CNC milling machine. By the end of this class you will have written code and cut out a simple project.


Prerequisites:
Introduction to the Milling Machine class or equivalent 

There is an added $10 materials fee for stock and O'hds that will be applied when you register.
Instructor: Chris Stanley

Bio. Chris is a master model maker, inventer, and fourth generation artist. He has taught a variety of classes in the industrial design department at the Art Institute of Seattle.
