This is a workshop format class with instruction and guidance to develop the technique for MIG welding aluminum.

Aluminum welding is generally more delicate or sensitive than welding steel but can be accomplished with MIG techniques using a spoolgun.

Details:

• Prerequisite:  Welding experience equal to BARN Introduction to Welding MIG #1 (and preferably MIG #2 ).
  
• BARN will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  
• Participants must wear natural fiber clothing, long sleeves, long pants, closed toe shoes (preferably leather or cotton), no stretch fabrics.
• A $22 materials fee for materials, gas, filler, and consumables will is included in the class cost.
