This is a beta class open only to invited students, to test-run a new class on using VCarve Pro to design projects for the CNC equipment in the Electronic & Technical Arts and Woodworking studios.

Day 1, in the in the ETA lab, will introduce students to VCarve Pro.  Students will leave with an assignment to design something for the next session. Projects can involve inlay, engraving, or whatever a student is interested in making. The class will also get an overview of the CNC equipment in ETA.

Day 2 will be in the Woodworking Studio. Students will review and refine their  projects, generate the g-code that tells the CNC router how to cut the project, and get an overview of the Woodworking Studio's CNC router.
