Learn to sketch and draw with pastels — pure, powdered pigment with a binder formed into sticks, kind of like crayons but with a more luminous color effect. You'll learn, through a step-by-step process, how to mix and layer your pastel colors. With your new skills, you'll create a beautiful still life from observation.

Each session of this class is different. Repeat students are encouraged to come and learn new techniques and practice building on their skills from previous sessions!
