Take the first step toward mastering the art of sheet metal work! You'll learn personal, tool, and shop safety, as well as how to use most of the basic tools for your future sheet metal projects — pattern layout, cutting, bending, shaping, and even the spot welder.

As part of this process you'll make a metal display stand to take home.

Materials

  • A $10 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers everything you'll need.

Class Policies

  • Ages 14 and up are welcome.
  • Eye protection is required. Safety glasses and other personal protection equipment will be available.
  • Wear natural-fiber clothing, long pants, and closed-toe shoes (natural fiber or leather). No stretch fabrics.
