This class will cover dado joints, lap joints, biscuit joints, dowel joints., and tongue-and-groove carcase joints, which can be used to edge-glue boards or make a corner for a project such as a drawer.

This is a hands-on class. Each student will be given a piece of wood to make a frame and will be guided through making a different type of joint at each corner.

The class is suitable for woodworkers with limited experience, but you must be checked out on use of the table saw beforehand. The Table Saw Safety & Basics class is one way to accomplish that.

The first six people to register for this class will be scheduled for the times and dates listed. Additional sections will be opened if demand warrants.

INSTRUCTOR: Bob Spangler, owner of Robert Spangler Furnituremaker on Bainbridge along with his wife, Birgit Josenhans, has been a cabinetmaker and furniture maker since 1973. His work has been included in national shows, public art projects, publications, competitions and private collections. He is a key player on  the BARN Woodshop's safety committee.
