Make a bowl 7 to 9 inches in diameter as you build your wood turning skills and learn some of the special   techniques needed for bowl-turning.

This is an intermediate-level class, open to students with prior turning experience. Students who have completed Turning Between Centers or Introduction to Wood Turning are eligible. People who did turning in the past and want a refresher on bowl techniques can also enroll, but please contact the instructor, Jamie Straw, first at 360-551-9233 to make sure this class is suitable for you.

You can expect to complete a bowl during this class but you will need to sand and finish it outside of class.  These steps are done on a lathe. You can arrange with the instructor to do this during open studio time at no extra charge.

The instructor will provide materials, at no additional charge.
