About

Students will be guided through the process of choosing a 3D model from an online source and preparing it for printing. We will use the printer, discuss how 3D printers work, talk about materials, learn basics of printer settings and review common problems.

Details:

• Basic computer skills are expected for this class.

• Bring a current-generation laptop (Windows or Mac), or email ETA@bainbridgebarn.org if you do not have a laptop and need to borrow one for this class.
  

• Before the class, download and install Cura 2, the free software used for preparing models for printing. The link is http://ultimaker.com/en/products/cura-software.
