Class canceled 11/258/22-CR
Want to learn how to create a video proof of concept to pitch your film, tv series, documentary, book or service?
In this two-day weekend intensive, you will learn how to put together an effective video pitch called a “sizzle reel” that could catch the eye of someone who can help you get the project made.
You will learn what makes a good sizzle reel (with examples), where to find the elements like the stock footage, music, and software (free and paid) you will need.
Each student will get to practice these skills by making their own sample sizzle reel with the guidance of the instructor.
*This is not a ‘pitch the producer’ session. This class will simply give you a leg up on the competition by putting together a video pitch to present your concept.

Instructor Bio:
Courtney G. Jones is a 30 year veteran of the film & television industry who has been an advocate for the kind of accessibility mobile filmmaking brings to creators for several years. Not only does Courtney serve as Head of Development for Steve Zahn & Rick Gomez’s company, Macaroni Art Productions, but he has produced and directed feature films, commercials, documentaries, and series… some of which have been shot on mobile. Mr. Jones brings a wealth of technical and creative know-how to the classroom.
Courtney’s main goal with teaching mobile content creation is to show that anyone can make something amazing with the technology that is in their pocket.
When Courtney is not writing, producing, filming, editing or teaching, he’s typically daydreaming about flying, living on a boat, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
