This guided workshop will provide time and instruction for glass artists from beginner to experienced working on class or independent projects. 

You can practice the process of layering frit to colorize the dried foliage you have chosen to decorate your project. This studio time is meant to benefit two groups:

  • Those who need time to finish frit and foliage class projects. Diane Bonciolini of Mesolini Glass Studio will be in the studio to assist.
  • Those who have previous experience and want studio time to get started on new projects.

Details

All tools provided by BARN for new artists. Others may bring their own tools and project materials if preferred. Material for projects available for purchase from the studio. Please bring cash or check for payment. 

Prerequisites

Previous experience with frit and foliage.

Class Policies

Ages 14 and up are welcome.

Instructor
Diane Bonciolini

Diane Bonciolini is the olini of Mesolini Glass Studio. Glass is her passion. As a full-time glass artist who has lived and worked on Bainbridge Island since 1977, she grows and changes with every project. She describes glass as having a life of its own. This multifaceted medium shows itself in each of her creations: stained glass, slumped and fused glass, lamp work, or glass combined with concrete.
