Create a set of six coasters from iridescent glass. Practice design development and precision cutting while learning to create patterns and texture in the iridescent spectrum.

A $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. No experience necessary.

INSTRUCTOR: Diane Bonciolini is the "olini" part of Mesolini Glass Studio, which she started with her husband, Gregg Mesmer, in 1977. She has led has many participatory art projects and has been an artisan with the Washington State Education Consortium since 2000. She has mentored students at Northwest College of Art & Design in Poulsbo and in the Bainbridge Arts & Crafts apprenticeship program. She was a studio assistant to lamp worker Janis Miltenberger at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina.
