About

Make an attractive plate inspired by the garden paintings of Gustav Klimt (1862–1918), the iconic Austrian Symbolist painter who was a founding member of the Vienna Secession art movement globally celebrated for his distinct style.

In addition to fusing sheet glass, you’ll learn how to integrate stringers, noodles, rods, and frit into your glass pieces.

Upon completion of this class, you'll be able to sign up for Open Studios, where you can come in and practice your new skills.

Skill level: Perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of fused glass, as well as for those who want to have fun playing with color and practicing whimsical design. 

Materials

An $82 materials fee, included in the price of the class, covers all the materials you'll need.

Class Policies

Ages 14 and up are welcome.

Instructor
Diana Lister

Diana has been playing with glass since the mid 90s. Originally a potter, she became interested in fused glass after attending the Beaux Arts festival in Miami. From fused glass, Diana went on to explore torch work, casting, and stained glass. Glass is such a versatile medium, and she’s constantly discovering new ways to manipulate it. She’s excited to share the joy of glasswork with others!
