In this illuminating class, you'll participate in preparing a seasonal meal and learn the creative process of putting an artisanal table together from foraged flora. While dinner cooks, Danis will take you into the gardens and woodlands of BARN's environment and teach you how to turn simple, natural, elements into a nature-inspired tabletop.

On the menu:

  • Hors d’oeuvre of chèvre, honeycomb, almonds with rosemary, and edible flowers.
  • Harvest soup with pork.
  • French wine pairing.
  • Pear galette (made ahead and served at the dinner).
  • French-press coffee.

Details

  • Ages 21 and up are welcome.
  • Wine pairing provided by French wine enthusiast and chef, Bernard Gayraud.
