About
If you have some experience at the forge and anvil, this is a time for improving your smithing skills and working on your own projects.
Only two spots are available in order to maintain safety protocols. You'll be asked to help set up (beginning at noon) as well as tear down the workspace, including cleanup (to be complete by 3 PM). You'll be able to work on your project in between.
If you don't have previous experience at any of BARN's forge events, contact metal.programming@bainbridgebarn.org prior to registration.
Details
- These events are intended for independent work. Trained volunteer monitors are present to ensure safe operation, not serve as experienced smithing instructors.
- This event is outside in the open air, so dress accordingly. A canopy likely will be erected for protection from light rain or the sun. Heavy rain, wind, or extreme weather may require the event to be canceled.
- Registration is required (no drop-ins).
- If the event fills, click "Add to Waitlist" and you'll be notified via email if a spot becomes available. The waitlist also provides a measure of how frequently these events should be held.
