About

This introductory blacksmithing class will introduce you to skills and techniques that will serve as a base of knowledge as you pursue blacksmithing. You'll learn to make a handy and decorative wall-mounted towel ring using hammer, tongs, anvil, punch, and forge while learning to draw out, twist, bend, flatten, and pierce a 3/8-inch-square piece of mild steel. Handling hot metal, and hammering technique and control will be central to this experience.
